A hands-on workday designed to help county teams plan, implement, or strengthen Handle With Care in their communities

Handle With Care (HWC) helps communities respond when a child has experienced a traumatic event.

Join Resilient Communities of East Georgia (RCEG) and CSRA RESA for a full-day, hands-on workday designed to help county teams understand, plan, and strengthen Handle With Care implementation.

During the workday, participants will learn how Handle With Care connects law enforcement, first responders, schools, courts, and community partners to support children exposed to trauma. Participants will explore key partners and roles, communication pathways, implementation best practices, data collection and evaluation practices, and strategies for maintaining fidelity to the Handle With Care model.

Whether your county is exploring Handle With Care for the first time or working to strengthen an existing initiative, this workday will help your team develop a practical implementation plan and leave with tools, resources, and clear next steps.
