RESILIENCE CAN LOOK LIKE:
Feeling safe to express. Trusting someone to listen. Building stronger connections. Finding comfort in community. Learning how to bounce back. Finding your inner peace.
Your Story Isn’t Over: Let’s Find Hope and Strength Together

“I think these are topics that help the students look further inwards, and I hope that our discussions can not only help them personally, but that the students can also take their learnings and share with others.”

Who We Are
Empowering Teens to Rise Above Challenges
Resilient Teens focuses on equipping young people in grades 6-12 with the skills and support they need to navigate adversity, manage emotions, and thrive. Through workshops, peer connections, and personalized support, we’re creating a community where no teen feels alone.
Get Involved
We offer an interactive after-school virtual learning experience for students in grades 6-12. You will have a chance to interact with medical students from Augusta University who will be leading fun activities to help you develop the skills to BOUNCE BACK and MOVE FORWARD. We use the Hope Givers curriculum that has been approved by the Georgia Department of Education.
Resilient Teens Ambassadors is an initiative for teens who have completed the Resilient Teens program and demonstrate a desire to represent the program at their schools. Our Resilient Teens Ambassadors will also provide input and feedback to the Advisory Council regarding program curriculum, activities, and events.
The Resilient Teens Summit is a one-day event designed for students in grades 6 through 12 from any of our 14 counties. It brings teens together to learn resilience skills through engaging speakers, interactive workshops, and plenty of fun activities!
- The event allows teens to connect in person and support one another as they grow in their knowledge.
- Parents are encouraged to attend, and we schedule special breakout sessions for parents as available.
